Need additional support?

LAAF is just one available resource. If you have reached us while we’re closed or you need more support with your appointment, you can:

  • Speak with your clinic about what financial assistance might be available to you. They are experts in connecting you to the resources available in the region you’re traveling to.

  • Find another fund offering support either where you’re from or where you’re going.

    • The National Network of Abortion Funds: abortionfunds.org

    • Funds that can support with your travel: ineedana.com

    • Call the National Abortion Federation support hotline: 1-800-772-9100

I’m under 18. What do I do?

The Louisiana Judicial Bypass Project provides resources for minors who are seeking an abortion but cannot get parental consent.  This website will walk you through the process and can connect you to an attorney who will represent you free of charge.

What if I haven’t scheduled an appointment yet?

The National Abortion Federation lists all of the providers they work with on their website. Once you schedule, they may be able to support with the cost of your procedure and travel, if you’re eligible.

You can also use ineedana.com or abortionfinder.org to find a clinic near you.

What if I have questions about my legal rights?

The Repro Legal Helpline (844-868-2812) managed by if/when/how can help you understand your rights, especially if you live in a state that has banned abortion. They are a legal resource and can provide information about the law and ordering pills online.
